1.The establishment of an IDCAS operational industrial information network needs a certain number of prerequisites :

-the availability of national documentation centers (NDC)in every Arab State. These centers will be in charge of centralizing the data ,acting as IDCAS input channels and the basic components of the network.

-IDCAS should undertake a survey of the different national documentation centers (IDC) : (NDC) and the industrial research and development centers already available in the Arab countries.

-the standardization and homogenization of the documentation techniques at the input formal level ,the choice of a common working language and vocabulary.

2-IDCAS links with the national and international organizations should be focused towards creating a base of bibliographic data and not a stock of primary publications .At the national level, a quick survey of the industrial documents may be archived through reprographic media. At the international level the size of the information files impedes a direct exploitation by IDCAS , however (teledocumentation )procedures should make them accessible.
