Arab information Network is the basic infrastructure essential for the industrialization programmer of the Arab countries. Narrates the efforts being made to build an Arab information Network (Ain).

By a systems approach identifies the environmental factors affecting the progress of the Ain system in fields such as information sources, information retrieval, documentation services, reprographic services, user relation , communication , and training and research. Makes suggestions for improving the environment in each of the areas. Suggests setting up of central facilities like Arab Bibliographic Centre , Patents Information Centre ,Technical translation Centre , Training and research Centre and data-Bank to strengthen the Ain. Suggests Adopting an integrated model of Ain with IDCAS as the central co-coordinating agency to develop the Ain on effective lines. Urges co-operation of all concerned in developing the Ain for the progress and prosperity of Arab region
